Sony and RAP Education jointly organized a two day Outdoor Fashion Photography Workshop at Mandarmani, West Bengal. A total of twenty participants took part in this unique program. Unlike regular indoor sessions, this workshop provided a completely different experience as it was conducted in an outdoor setup, allowing participants to explore natural light, dynamic backgrounds, and creative compositions in real-world environments. Mr. Riddhi Bhattacharjee, Founder and Mentor of RAP Education Photography School guided and gave valuable tips on outdoor fashion photography. This unique experience for aspiring photographers, offering the perfect blend of creativity and learning. Shooting by the sea with the backdrop of waves and sandy textures helped participants capture the perfect frame with elegance. The natural surroundings provided soft light and beautiful natural light, where mentors shared valuable light tips for achieving cinematic tones and flattering portraits. The workshop emphasized story telling through fashion photography, allowing every shot to narrate emotions and style. Students practiced camera basics and advanced camera tricks, which helped them refine their vision and achieve skill mastery. From capturing candid moments on the beach to experimenting with angles and shadows, the session inspired participants to explore creative photography beyond traditional setups. Participants got opportunity to do fashion photography at pool of resort too. The crystal-clear water, reflections, and natural sunlight create a perfect frame for stylish poolside portraits. Photographers can use soft light in the morning or golden hour to enhance the natural glow of models and highlight fashionable outfits. At a resort pool, every shot tells a story — from candid moments of relaxation to bold fashion poses that capture elegance, luxury, and lifestyle.
